Our 3-acre masterplan for this garden takes in views of the 12-acre parkland, also to our design, on this 275-acre estate with existing paddocks. The design includes a new drive, leading to a gravel forecourt, and a formal white garden looking onto a wildflower meadow. On the south side of the house is a brick and York stone terrace surrounded by lavender and other sun loving plants. Brick steps lead down to huge, asymmetrical grass-and-perennial borders planted for year round interest. These encourage views to the parkland and landscape beyond, across a new ha-ha, and also link a climber-clad pergola, hedged rose garden and winter garden walk. A bespoke maintenance plan has been prepared. |
