Our masterplan for the 20 acre formal gardens and parkland surrounding
this Royal residence in Brussels was implemented in 1974 and continues
to be developed. The design was conceived as a three-dimensional parterre
of interconnected spaces. Pleached limes and a long wisteria pergola
flank four gardens at the centre of which there is a dramatic topiary.
We have undertaken the replanting of shrub borders and extensive tree-planting
throughout the parkland and we continue to give ongoing advice on
the maintenance and management of the gardens.
