Emma Mazzullo Ba(Hons). Dip LA. M.L.I. M.S.G.D
Practice Director



Emma has been part of my team since 1994 and has overseen commercial and domestic landscape projects ranging from a half acre roof garden in the City of London and three Chelsea Flower Show gardens to many large, private gardens in Britain, Europe and America. Emma studied Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University, obtaining BA (Hons) and Dip LA. She is also a fully qualified member of the Landscape Institute and Society of Garden Designers. Emma has a wide range of experience throughout the landscape and garden design industry, having worked for both architectural and design build firms. Her technical and organisational skills have proved invaluable in managing projects in both the public and private sectors, including experience in dealing with various authorities and development corporations. Emma has recently finished a three year term as an external examiner at Leeds Metropolitan University.


 

Libby Russell MA(Hons) Mod. History, MLA
Associate

Libby has been part of the team since 1999.  She has a special responsibility for planting within the office but also works on all parts of the design process from masterplanning to running projects on site, feasibility studies and her History MA Oxon is useful for historical research.  Libby has worked in many Mediterranean countries including Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus as well as working on projects in the UK.  She is currently a member of the RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee, an associate of the Landscape Institute and has various other professional qualifications from her previous careers in the City and marketing industries and is a French speaker



Jonathan D. G. Griffiths. Ba(Hons). Dip LA. ALI
Senior Landscape Architect

Jonny joined the team in 1995 and works on projects in Britain, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Canada and America, including the Caribbean. Jonny oversees jobs from feasibility and initial briefing to completion, with the preparation of all the necessary survey analysis, drawings, reports, and using his 16 years experience monitoring works on site. Jonny has good experience working with both "In-house" estate staff as well as outside contractors to complete the built project. Jonny studied Landscape Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University, obtaining BA (Hons) and Dip LA. He is currently an associate of the Landscape Institute. Jonny's other skills include proficiency in Vectorworks CAD package, the design and detailing of bespoke garden furniture and the detailing of specific hard landscape details.



Christopher Jordan. BSc(Hons) Hort & LSCPE, ALA
Project Landscape Architect


Since joining the practice in 1997, Christopher has used his skills in landscape architecture and horticulture to oversee a variety of town and country projects in Britain, France and the United States.  His strong hand-rendering skills are utilised in the preparation of masterplans, sketch designs and construction drawings.  Christopher also prepares planting plans and schedules and often oversees planting projects. After first degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Contracting from the Pennsylvania State University, USA, Christopher earned his master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.  Christopher’s other experience includes garden history research, furniture design and published garden writing.



William Peel Dip GD. ISD
Junior Landscape Architect


William joined the practice in September 2008. With a background in Architecture he transferred to the Inchbald School of Design where he obtained a Diploma in Garden Design. He brings a strong eye for detail and is skilled in both hand drawn and computer graphics and in three-dimensional architectural modelling.



Marco Battaggia. Dottore in Scienze Forestali, MLI
Project Landscape Architect

Languages: Italian and French



Marco’s vast experience and knowledge in computer imaging and drafting has fuelled an important aspect of communicating sketch ideas and detailing in my offices. Marco obtained a degree in Scienze Forestali from Padua University, Italy and a postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture from the University of Central England. He is also a fully qualified member of Landscape Institute and is fluent in Italian and French. In addition to Marco’s computer skills, he has served as a project landscape architect for 9 years. He has overseen a variety of projects from feasibility to completion, including several urban landscape strategies, the rejuvenation of an historic park, hotel grounds development, and several private residences in the U.K., Europe and Lebanon.
